Interesting bit from the comments:
“i pass from there frequently and i noticed that the cars ate moved quite often in the showroom itself and i cannot recall ever seeing any of them on a flat tyre. but also ive never seen anyone in the showroom that might be the owner or that i could contact in any way”
What a waste of good cars.

I’d prefer the XT, but I’d take any one of those. That base model Impreza (or the Justy) would probably rule at rallycross.

I wonder if it is a case of closing up shop to create a time capsule more than going out of business. It certainly looks like someone is still paying for the building and maintaining the cars.

I really wonder what engines and transmissions are in the Imprezas. You used to be able to get them with either FWD or AWD and engines ranging from 1.5l to 2.2l here in the US, and I’m sure Japan got even more options. I certainly don’t recall seeing any unpainted bumpers here. I wonder if you could have gotten the old switchable AWD system from the earlier 80s Subarus in JDM Imprezas?

I’ll take all of them to add to my collection.

I wonder if this is more of a weirdo collection/hoard than just unsold cars - mid 90s Impreza and XT didn’t coexist, right? These being in the same place in mostly the same color seems more than coincidence.

Reading other comments, it sounds like the owner is wealthy and simply doesn’t need the money.
